Mission

The Vivienne Foundation seeks to create a better society and halt climate change.

The Vivienne Foundation exists to honour, protect and continue the legacy of Vivienne's creativity and activism.

Since the start of her career in the 1970s, Vivienne was renowned not only for her fashion design, but also her activism. Vivienne always utilised her platform of prestige to make the world a better place.

The Foundation is built upon Vivienne’s four pillar approach to save the world – halt climate change, stop war, defend human rights and protest capitalism. We raise awareness and fundraise for NGO’s aligned with our mission to create a better society and halt climate change.

Advocacy

Vivienne identified the fact we need government cooperation to make our strategy fully effective. Therefore, we aim to work with NGOs, scientists and experts to lobby the government to implement legal changes. We believe this is vital to achieve tangible and impactful results.

“Charities and NGOs can save lives; however, we cannot achieve systemic change without government cooperation. The only way we can save ourselves is with government help and our strategy must be put into law”

Board of
Advisors

Our Board of Advisors is made up of ten independent scientists and experts. Each member is aligned with at least one of our four pillars of change. The Board of Advisors offer independent advice to the Foundation regarding both our campaigns and our advocacy. We have selected individuals who understand both the problem and the solution. None of the members are affiliated with any organisations that The Vivienne Foundation donates funds to.

Political
Aims

The Vivienne Foundation is set up as a not-for-profit company to enable the Foundation to have political aims and views within our campaigning and advocacy work. As a registered charity we would be unable to do this.
